About

Studying, for real.

Summry is built by two students, for students. Here is what we do, why, and what we refuse to do.

01

We start from a course, not a promise.

Summry started from a simple observation: we spend hours rereading, highlighting, and copying things out, then walk into the exam without having really practiced. We built a tool that starts from your course, structures it, and then has you work on it.

The idea isn’t to replace your work. It’s to remove the mechanical part — copying, reformulating, cutting things up — so you have time left to understand, practice, and remember.

We believe in simple materials, verifiable sources, and tools that also say what they don’t do. The rest, we learn by building.

02

Two founders, not a ghost team.

Summry is developed by two people. We build the product, talk to users, and fix what isn’t working. If you write to us, we’re the ones who answer.

03

Numbers we can stand behind.

The “2,000+ students” figure refers to accounts created, not monthly active users. Internal Clerk data, October 2026. We don’t publish a number we can’t explain.

04

Where our users come from.

We identify the institution from the domain of the email address used at sign-up. The names below are the ones that come up most often in our aggregated data.

  • HEC Paris
  • ESSEC Business School
  • Sciences Po
  • Sorbonne Université

Internal data aggregated from email domains via Clerk, October 2026. No personal data is published and no headcount per school is exposed. Summry is not affiliated with these institutions.
