Summry or StudyFetch?
StudyFetch is a complete American platform: USMLE- or NCLEX-style tests, an AI tutor, lecture recording, a revision plan. If you are preparing an American exam, it has real arguments. If you are studying a French semester, the question shifts: Summry, our tool, takes your handouts, your photos and your audio, and turns them into study sheets, flashcards and quizzes in about twenty seconds, in French. The difference lies in the language, the input and the price.

Two tools, two approaches.
The two tools are not playing the same game. StudyFetch covers the whole chain: structured notes, flashcards, corrected quizzes, tests in the target exam format, audio summary. Sparky, its tutor, answers only from the imported documents. The course can even be recorded live.
Summry starts from the other end. The course already exists: a handout, a photo of notes, lecture audio, a PDF. The tool outputs a study sheet, flashcards, a quiz and a mind map in about twenty seconds, in French, with Anki export and a displayed price. StudyFetch is richer; Summry is more direct.
Summry is our tool. We compare it with its limits, and we also say what StudyFetch does better.
What StudyFetch does well.
What really works in StudyFetch, and when it helps.
Tests in the exam format.
USMLE, NCLEX, AP, LSAT, CFA: questions take the format of the target exam, with clinical scenarios in health.
A tutor anchored in your documents.
Sparky relies on what you imported, not the web, and cites the source passages.
Lecture recording.
StudyFetch transcribes and writes notes during the session. One-hour lectures are supported.
A revision plan.
Material is split into blocks, from the most fundamental to the most advanced. A “cram” mode exists for the night before.
A wide input, and Anki import.
PDF, Word, PowerPoint, photos via QR code, MP3, MP4, YouTube. You can start from an Anki deck or a Quizlet set.
Native apps and audio.
Web, iOS and Android, with synchronisation. Audio summary of 6 to 45 minutes and explainer videos.
What Summry adds.
The differences that matter when the study load grows.
Twenty seconds.
A study sheet, flashcards and a quiz in about twenty seconds, sometimes less, from a PDF or a photo. StudyFetch advertises “in seconds”, with no precise duration.
Photos and audio, without a detour.
A photo of notes, lecture audio, a PDF, an Excel file: everything goes in directly. StudyFetch also accepts photos, but through a QR code scanned with the phone.
50 free credits a month.
The free plan gives 50 monthly credits, for a number of courses that varies with their size. At StudyFetch, the offer is tighter, and the two official sources contradict each other: the paywall advertises 10 imports, the help documentation 2 in total. Removing a file does not give the credit back.
An Anki export.
Summry outputs its flashcards as Anki-compatible CSV, on top of PDF printing. StudyFetch documents importing an Anki deck, not exporting.
French first.
Site, interface, pricing: everything is in French. StudyFetch offers a FR interface in its application, but its site, documentation and support remain in English.
A PWA, readable pricing.
Summry is added to your home screen without going through a store, and displays its prices. StudyFetch publishes no price: you have to create an account.
The study load, in medicine and beyond
In the PASS, the LAS or medicine, a semester is not decided on one chapter: hundreds of pages, handwritten notes, sometimes recorded courses. Getting all of that into clean shape costs memorisation time.
StudyFetch handles the load: a one-hour lecture is recorded, 80 slides become notes, the plan spreads the work up to the exam. Its USMLE and NCLEX tests are an asset for an international exam. Two reservations: the environment is English-speaking, and neither mind maps nor Anki export are documented.
Elsewhere, the load changes shape without shrinking. In law, a semester means a code, case law and essays: you need study sheets per concept and quizzes to test yourself. In preparatory classes, maths, economics and essay compression pile up too. Summry does neither recording nor revision planning: it takes photos and audio, outputs a study sheet, flashcards, quizzes and a mind map in twenty seconds, and lets the cards go back to Anki. The PASS method is detailed at /pour/pass-medecine.

Frequently asked questions.
Answers to the most common questions about StudyFetch and Summry.
Summry or StudyFetch: which one should you choose?
StudyFetch is more complete: AI tutor, USMLE- or NCLEX-style tests, revision plan, lecture recording. Summry is more direct: photos, audio, PDF and Excel in, study sheets and quizzes out in about twenty seconds, in French, with 50 free credits. If your exam takes place in France, the USMLE tests will not help you.
Is StudyFetch available in French?
Partly. French appears among the languages on the App Store listing, but the site, documentation and support are in English. The quality of generation in French is not verified.
Is StudyFetch suitable for the PASS and the LAS?
On volume, yes: a one-hour lecture is recorded, 80 slides become notes, a plan spreads the work up to the exam. Its USMLE and NCLEX tests help if you are aiming at an international exam. But the environment is English-speaking, and neither mind maps nor Anki export are documented.
How does StudyFetch pricing compare with Summry?
StudyFetch: $19.99/month, $96/year or $29 per quarter, with no price shown on the site. Summry: 50 free credits, then €7/month (€70/year) or €15/month (€120/year). StudyFetch euro prices are not verified: we do not convert.
Can you export StudyFetch flashcards to Anki?
Export is not documented. StudyFetch documents importing an Anki deck or a Quizlet set, not the output. Summry does both: Anki-compatible CSV and PDF printing.
