Summry or Turbo AI?
Turbo AI records your lecture, transcribes it, then outputs notes, flashcards, quizzes and a podcast. It is a good first pass over a course, provided you read English. Summry starts from the other end: PDF, photo of notes or audio in, study sheets, flashcards and quizzes out in about twenty seconds, Anki export on the way out. Up to you: listen to it, or turn it into revision.
4.3/5 on Trustpilot2,000+ students
Two tools, two approaches.
Launched in 2024, Turbo AI built its product around one gesture: recording the lecture. The application listens, transcribes, adds timestamps and key points. Notes stay editable, the chat answers from the open document, mobile applications synchronise. The positioning is American, with study guides designed for AP exams.
Summry stops at production and output. Documents go in — PDF, photo, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, audio, YouTube, text —, study sheets, flashcards, quizzes and mind maps come out. You fix them, export Anki-compatible CSV or print to PDF. Live recording is not its subject. Summry is our tool, and this page also says what Turbo AI does better.
Summry is our tool. We compare it with its limits, and we also say what Turbo AI does better.
What Turbo AI does well.
What really works in Turbo AI, and when it helps.
Lecture recording
You launch the application, it listens, the note arrives with key points and timestamps. It is the feature put first on its product page.
A note that stays editable
Google Docs-style editor, tables, equations, diagrams: not a frozen text you can only reread.
One import, four outputs
The same course feeds notes, flashcards, quizzes and a podcast. Revision by listening exists, handy on public transport.
The chat inside the note
The question is asked on the open document, without copying the course elsewhere. It does not search the web.
Technical subjects hold up
Formulas, chemical equations, physics diagrams and bits of code are advertised as preserved in the notes.
The stores are massively used
4.7/5 over 318,214 Google Play reviews and 33,865 App Store ratings. At that volume, the average barely moves.
What Summry adds.
The differences that matter when the study load grows.
French, in the interface and in the notes
The interface, the site and the answers are in French. Turbo AI’s French App Store listing declares English only, and its site has no translated version. The quality of a note generated from a French course has not been tested: not verified.
An export, not a closed note
Anki-compatible CSV and PDF printing. At Turbo AI, the blog mentions notes that are “exportable”, without ever naming a format.
The formats it does not mention
Photos of notes, Word, Excel: Summry accepts them. Turbo AI mentions them nowhere, neither on its site nor in its store listings — not verified, not “no”.
Mind maps
One map per course to see the structure. No trace at Turbo AI, which does not document the absence either.
A displayed price, a free plan with an unknown cap
€7/month, or €5.83 billed yearly, and 50 monthly credits whose number of courses depends on their size. Turbo AI displays no price without an account, and does not publish the volume of its free plan — notes, flashcards and quizzes, with no advertised cap.
A PWA, not an installation
Nothing to install, nothing to update. Opposite, Turbo AI has real native applications and podcasts you can listen to offline: on that point, it does better.
The study load, in medicine and beyond
In the PASS, the problem is not finding study sheets: it is the volume. Courses landing every week, handouts nobody has time to get into clean shape. What costs is the formatting.
Turbo AI has a real argument there: in a lecture, you write badly and lose the thread. Record, get a timestamped note, draw cards from it: the chain holds in one gesture. Two reservations for the LAS and the PASS: no documented Anki export, so spaced repetition stays inside Turbo, and an interface in English.
In law or preparatory classes, the mechanism is the same: eight pages from which you have to produce a study sheet and questions. Produce fast, fix, then revise in the tool that handles spacing. Summry puts its effort into the first step, with [the PASS method](/pour/pass-medecine).
The head-to-head.
Nine criteria, the same for every tool. A “—” means “not verified”, not “no”.

When to choose which?
Two different uses. See which one looks like yours.
Choose Turbo AI
Choose Turbo AI if your courses are in English, or if you want to record the lecture and get a clean note out of it straight away. It is the tool for the first pass. Expect to create an account before knowing the price: the grid appears after sign-up.
Choose Summry
Choose Summry if your courses are in French, if you want to fix things and then export to Anki or print, and if the price has to be visible before signing up.
Pricing.
Prices listed on the official sites, with no sponsored offer.
Summry
- Free (50 credits/month)
- Essentiel €7/month or €5.83/month billed yearly (€70/year)
- Major €15/month or €10/month billed yearly (€120/year)
Turbo AI
- No public pricing page
- $20/month, or $10/month billed yearly ($120/year) according to the official blog
- French App Store: €22.99/month and €99.99/year (checked on October 28, 2026)
Summry displays its prices: free with 50 credits a month, the number of courses depending on their size; Essentiel at €7/month, or €5.83/month billed yearly (€70/year); Major at €15/month, or €10/month billed yearly (€120/year).
Turbo AI has no public pricing page: /pricing and /plans return an error (tested on October 28, 2026) and the price only appears after creating an account. The reference amounts come from the official blog, in an article of July 24, 2026: $20 per month, or $10 per month billed yearly ($120 per year). On the French App Store, the subscription displays at €22.99/month and €99.99/year.
Those euros do not form a grid: the App Store also lists €17.99/month, yearly plans from €34.99 to €129.99, a week at €9.99 and an offer at €7.99, and Google Play advertises a range from €7.99 to €109.99. Those variants look like price tests or promotions; we do not present them as the official grid.
In the same currency, in euros and on the amounts collected: €22.99/month against €7/month at Summry (Essentiel), and €99.99/year against €70/year. The tiers do not overlap, though: Summry’s Major, at €120/year, goes above Turbo’s €99.99/year. The advantage is clear at the entry level, not at the top. We do not convert the blog’s $20 into euros, for lack of a dated exchange rate; the French VAT applied by Apple explains part of the gap with €22.99.

Frequently asked questions.
Answers to the most common questions about Turbo AI and Summry.
Is Turbo AI free?
A free offer exists, with notes, flashcards and quizzes. Its cap is not published: impossible to know how many notes or recording minutes are included. At Summry, the limit is written: 50 credits a month, and the number of courses depends on their size.
How much does Turbo AI cost?
No public grid: the /pricing and /plans pages return an error (tested on October 28, 2026). The official blog gives $20/month or $120/year; the French App Store, €22.99/month or €99.99/year, with variants that look like price tests. French VAT explains part of the gap between the two currencies.
Can you export your study sheets to Anki?
Nothing documents it. The blog talks about exportable notes without naming a format, and no PDF printing is described. Not verified, so not “no”. Summry documents Anki CSV and PDF.
Does Turbo AI work in French?
No: the site and the application are in English, and /fr returns an error. The French Google Play listing is translated by the store. The quality from a French course has not been tested.
Is Summry suitable for the PASS and the LAS?
Yes: photos of notes, lecture audio, handout PDFs, then study sheets, flashcards and quizzes in about twenty seconds. Anki export lets you continue on your own tool. See [the PASS method](/pour/pass-medecine).
